Inside the hall were different dignified guests wearing masks. Single guests.
Everyone was trying to be as anonymous as they could but there were some that even with their masks on, their identity was still very obvious.
Take the lady wearing the pearl dress at the corner for example. She was adorned with pearls from head to toe and even her mask was made of pearls.
She had stolen the attention of everyone but only a few could approach her, knowing who she was.
"Lady Beatrice, I love your gown." One of the ladies surrounding her said,
"Oh my, how did you know I was the one?" The Lady, Beatrice asked and lightly chuckled.
"Why would we not know? You are always the light of the party and even now, with a mask, your elegance can never be covered." The ladies praised her and this just made her feel even more powerful than before.
