Vincent's P.O.V
I was sitting in my study, engrossed in the plans for a new renovation around the eastern boundaries when my communication device beeped with an incoming video call. Surprised, I glanced at the screen, and to my shock, Lucien's face appeared.
Frowning, I hesitated for a second to take the call. Lucien wasn't only the current Guild Leader in charge of all the Guild hunters, but he was Elena's lover as well. So it was only natural that my agitation elevated as soon as his face flashed on my phone.
However, I couldn't ignore him either since Elena was still with me, and that was how it was going to stay, no matter what argument he had to present to me in order to get her back.
"What is going on?" I blurted out; unable to keep the agitation out of my voice once I answered the call.
