Chapter 37 - Chapter 37 Alora's Effort

The caravan guards all charged toward the beast along with the adventures.

At this point, Armstrong cast stealth and was cutting beasts left and right. While Alora cast fire blast towards the beast.

Armstrong took a deep breath, his hand clenching tightly around his sword. He had fought beasts before, but this was different.

He casted stealth, melding into the air like a whisper.

One goblin fell, its cry silenced before it could alert the others. With each strike, more goblins met its end, with their blood staining the floor.

The goblins, orcs, and trolls had joined forces to take down a human city.

The goblin, orc, and trolls fought fiercely but they were unmatched by the caravan group and the people fighting behind them.

The battle range for what seemed like hours, with the fires of combat never ceasing.

"More beasts are coming, retreat!" Henry scream.

Adventurers started pulling back, but Alora stepped forward and killed the beast.

The orcs, goblins, and trolls fought desperately to stop her, but she was too quick and powerful.

Alora's fire blast seemed to blaze with orange fire.

Despite the blood and death surrounding her, Alora felt exhilarated and alive. Her thirst for battle grows with each passing moment.

Finally, the enemy forces began to retreat, their morale crushed by the slight of their fallen comrades and the presence of Aloras fire blast.

Standing amidst the smoking ruins of the battlefield, she knew that she had proven herself to everyone here.

"That's my girl" Armstrong screamed from distance.

She knew some beast might try to regroup and attack again. Determined to prevent that from happening, she chased after the fleeing beast and cast a fire blast at them.

Alora was ruthless in her pursuit, knowing the city's survival depended on it.

Finally, the last of the enemy forces had been defeated.

That's when she stopped moving to look around and saw the devastation the battle had wrought.

Bodies littered the ground, and the Smell of blood and smoke filled the air.

Finally, she returned to the human encampment, Armstrong ran through the smoke and gave her a hug

The people cheered as she approached, grateful at being saved from the beast wave.

Alora pushed past the crowd with Armstrong by her side looking for a place to rest. While they were both walking Armstrong checked his system.

As they both sat down, they heard screams of panicking people running away from the battlefield as adventurers and the soldiers who were left ran towards it.

They both followed them and saw another beast wave but made up mostly of orcs and trolls.

Armstrong turned around and saw Henry and Muna covered in blood.

"I'm glad you are okay, Muna," Armstrong said to Muna.

"I've already told you to call me big sister. I don't want to hear my name from your mouth Armstrong."

The ground shook as a Giant worm-looking beast popped out of the ground all around the big camp.Screams and shouts could be heard as a horn sounded in the distance. Anyone close to the worms started attacking them.

All Armstrong could hear was people fighting and explosions rocking the camp. The worms were dealt with quickly, but the army suffered some losses due to the surprise attack.

He turned and saw Muna talking to an armored knight, and Armstrong heard what she said thanks to his ears.

"The civilians have been evacuated by boat. Only the soldiers remain. We came in with the rescue force sent by Duke"

Armstrong saw the sight behind the man and was filled with hope. Seven hundred armored knights, decked out in their finest combat regalia, was a truly awe-inspiring sight.

Each knight was adorned with beautiful armor crafted from the finest metals, each piece intricately detailed. Their armor glistened In the sunlight, reflecting the world's colors. Some were adorned with rich red and gold.

Others favored deep blues and greens that looked like they had been taken straight from the ocean depths. The knights were mounted on powerful horses, each beast snorting and pawing impatiently at the ground as they waited for the signal to move.

Their armor was more than just decorative, it was designed for battle, with heavy plating protecting every Inch of the knight's body.

Each piece was interlocked, providing full mobility without sacrificing protection. Their helmet was just as impressive, adorned with majestic decorations, as they hid the face.

A thick chainmail mantle covered their necks and shoulders, protecting them. In unison, the knights spurred their horses forward in perfect formation.
