Arc was in a deep state of focus, he can feel himself falling in the seas of darkness while seeing all the bad memories keep appearing around him, opening his past wounds and sorrow that he had buried long ago.
Arc kept falling more deep and deep, he move around and get out of this place but he could not move around in that situation for some reason and felt the unbearable sorrow due to being reminded of all dark memories.
Arc's will which was already crumbling due to the burden of reality weighing down on him was now in shambles and he was devastated completely, he saw all his life flashing in front of his eyes which reminded him of wrong paths he had chosen and could have the gotten the better life if he made the decisions in opposite directions., which he made due to righteousness in his heart but he got nothing in return ever, but even if did received something it was all the sorrow.
"You are mine, I will claim all your powers someday even including your soul, and you would do all this willingly, Just wait, I will ruin your whole life. You wouldn't be able to get rid of me anyway." A dark ominous voice appeared from all direction ringing in the head of Arc who was falling in that sea of dark memory.
Arc was hopeless now while accepting all the darkness that his life have held and have in store in future for himself. But something was glimmering like a light vanishing in the darkness even if it can even barely seen there. Arc focused his sight in that direction and he listened to really recent heard voice saying something.
Arc recognized that his this voice was of Derek and it was saying, "Arc focus on some good memories or person who you can accept as an anchor."
Hearing this Arc was not feeling happy but still laughed at himself that there are no good memories to even think about, and what anchor is he even talking about, he just received the betrayal from everyone.
But there is still one person who he can pin point his hope and take him as an anchor and it was the Derek himself who could have taken benefit of him being the supernatural and he didn't do such a thing but instead he helped him discover his powers while making him feel at ease for once.
And next emotion filled voice of Derek that arc heard strengthened his this thought.
He heard his voice saying, "Arcccc, Can you hear me, focus on your anchor?" This voice was filled with the intensity of emotions and a little pain that he can recognize as same as him. This was the pain of facing something bad that had left a deep scar on his mind for forever.
Arc focused on all the memories he had with Derek till now which was helping him as the darkness and bad memories started disappearing from his surrounding little by little.
"This is just the beginning, And your last end will always be me. And the hope you just held to now would not help you much because i will first torture through torturing him in life with ways you can't even except and after that I would come for you. You are last one I need. Your efforts in stopping me would be foolish." That ominous voice again said before it finally disappeared while finally a light environment appeared around him.
He felt that he can control his body and then Arc controlled his body to try going up from falling, and it succeeded, He started moving upward with a light smile which was like newly blooming flower in some tough environment.
He moved toward the source of the light from beginning. Arc escaped from there but a light orb was also flying with him.
Out of the Curiosity, Arc touched the light orb.
And as his hand touched the light orb, light orb started to melt and entered his body, Arc felt his body getting a warm with some uncomfortable feeling inside him like itchy feeling which was annoying.
Then all the environment around him broke and now Arc can listen the breathing of himself and of Derek too.
Arc suddenly opened his eyes and saw Derek looking toward him with some concern filled eyes.
As for Derek, he was really concerned before when he saw dark energy entering the Arc's body, But just before he saw the Arc recovering his expressions and body relaxing from tensed before. After seeing this, Derek closed his werewolf eyes and turned normal but he was still worried.
Arc looked deeply on Derek because first in a long time he saw someone feeling concern for him. Arc may have lived with the cold front till now but his inner self was filled with wounds.
He instinctively moved his hands toward the Derek's hand and touched them while feeling the itchy inside.
As he touched the hands, a bunch of the scenes appeared in front of him, and nothing in that scene was familiar to Arc so he connected all the dots and came to conclusion that these scene are somehow related to the Derek because it just appeared when he touched his hands.
In that scene it was a dark night while a person was pierced with sword, while some little wolf in that same direction and it suddenly transformed in human and loudly screamed, "Fatherrr."
"Genesis Hale is no more, his death confirmed. Now, all retreat." Person standing standing next pierced person said and then disappeared with other people in the shadows of that night.
Arc was trying to get more information out of this but he suddenly jolted awake from this deep concentration of scene when he was pushed away.
"What powers did you just used on me?" Derek asked in a little alert tone
Arc was so absorbed into his thoughts that he directly said what was going in his mind saying, "Who is this Genesis Hale, do you know him, is he your father? How did he died to a sword, are you werewol…?"
Arc was brought back from his thoughts by a growl.
