Arc have discovered a painful truth till now that no matter who, he can never trust them anymore without being suspicious because of the list of the things that have happened with him till now.
Arc can neither believe the supernatural people and nor humanity who will pounce on supernatural for experimenting if he is discovered as supernatural.
Arc is on the rooftop of the campus where there is no cameras. Arc was muddle headed low because of all kinds of negative thoughts constantly swirling in his head. His mindset could not take this anymore and decided to the final decision of finally taking his own life.
And when any supernatural decide to die, it use the method the self- destruction as to never leave any clues behind as to not let the existence of supernatural public.
He closed his eyes, he finally accepted all the pains and bad things happened in his life that he was in denial for till now believing that some miracle would happen solving even half of his problem.
He felt the burden on his left lifted a little but now it was too late to go back. So, he continued to proceed with self- destruction. His body started emitting a special frequency of voice that can only be discovered by other supernatural.
As this was happening, in the campus building, some people in various classrooms looked on this direction like they were feeling something.
Some of them choose to act on it because they know once a supernatural is saved someone then they will on return are bound to help them one time in life, and gaining a favour from supernatural is most difficult thing supernatural community, because they would prefer dying than owing anyone any favour.
In the higher classes of campus, a boy named Derek also discovered this frequency of sound, he was a werewolf so his sense of hearing is one of the best best among supernatural. He was in middle of class but his mind was focused on the sound frequency which was rising with passing second indicating that self- destruction can happen really fast.
Derek stood up in class while saying, "Teacher, I need to go to the bathroom, can I go?"
"Yeah, you are in higher classes now and now donot have to ask the teacher for leaving the class. It's all up to you all to be responsible for your time spending, no one will stop anymore." Teacher as usual started going into the depth of topic which was usual habit.
As this was occurring, two boys in same classroom eyed the Derek with hidden suspicions gazes like as to want discover something about him.
Derek not any wasting any time listening to this teacher anymore, he finally left the room, leaving the teacher uncomfortable in his speech.
'Who is this, and what is someone supernatural trying self- destruct, this was the last of anyone, because pain from it was even worse than slowly burning in fire. In the the community of supernatural beings, this self- destruct was not used for years now.' Derek thought to himself while closing the distance between him and source of this frequency sound.
On the side of Arc, his body have now started having cracks like a mirror which was very unusual to look at. Two people have already arrived on the both sides of roof while looking at this happen. From these two, one is boy and other is a girl. Then seeing this directly indicates that they are related to supernaturals somehow.
Derek also reached the rooftop and saw that it was boy of their of school trying self- destruct. Look of the Arc would even creep out the psychopaths because except for having crack, his normal wasn't also any better, if someone was to describe it less words then it can only be said as the peak of miserable because blood tears, skinny body and god know how many diseases does he have.
Derek saw what others did not saw, he saw a person who is not expecting anything good to happen in his life, like he already mentally and spiritually accepted the fate. He saw a reflection of his younger self in him, which brought his some bad memories to surface once again in which he had suppressed under his cold persona that he had created for himself to never show weakness to anyone.
Derek subconsciously started moving toward the Arc like he had now forgotten all the surroundings and now only seeing his younger self trapped in cage of depression and distrust for world.
Derek also knew that what stage of self destruction this boy have reached cannot be stopped easily and even it was stopped, boy would still die from the damage done by process of self destruction till now to his body.
Derek finally reached the boy while boy was still immersed in his thoughts while going through self destruction. Derek placed his hand on boy's hands and started sucking pain out of him while he himself suffer that same pain.
It worked a little as veins of both turned black from body parts where touched each other showing the pain absorption. But, pain absorption was far from enough to solve this situation of boy.
Derek was a beta werewolf and can not bit some one to turn them into werewolves which only alpha can do. Derek weighing his options finally decided on something.
Next moment he have placed a powerful but controlled karate chop on the back of boy's neck, making him go unconscious. Which did stopped self destruction but now boy was also bad condition.
Derek quickly transformed into black wolf form and picked Arc in mouth. As this was happening, Derek heard voice of someone with his strong hearing ability of being werewolf, he discovered that there are other people beside him and boy. Instead of getting into conflict and fighting now with them. Derek chose to go and save the Arc first. Derek leapt from roof 2 floor building with all his power and started running down in dark alleyway's direction, so, he can transform back and bring the Arc to someone to save him before it is too late.
