There's a legend spoken amongst the learned ones, spoken in hush in fear of being deemed blasphemous, as the information itself was impossible to be true. However, there were writings about it. Old writings, written hastily and signed by a learned author, one whom they trusted. He must've stumbled upon the information accidentally, as his whereabouts were unknown.
What is this legend, you ask?
The legend is that an angel resides in Heaven with a pair of wings that is as black as night. It was blasphemous to think so, as it was customary for an angel to bear wings with white feathers, but to think that an angel with black wings exists.
It was abnormal.
It was strange.
It was unheard of.
Firstly, what does it mean to have black wings? Secondly, how do one's wings turn black? Thirdly, would that angel still be able to reside in Heaven? Fourthly, would that being still be considered an angel?
There were many speculations, and none proved true, but people like to talk and gossip. Thus there appeared a few wild ones.
Amongst the learned ones, they knew there were scripts written of an angel cast out of Heaven, called the Fallen Angel, whose wings were pulled out from their shoulder blades from defying orders. They were forever stranded in the mortal realm, never returning to their Heaven home.
Using that logic, the angel in question must've violated the twenty laws the Chief of Heaven set.
But who was it? And what direction did the being violate? There was no information about it, and the most crucial question is, who was the angel that did it? And, who has that much power to be allowed to stay in Heaven, to have the wings, and still be an angel?
Well, it's the Chief of Heaven's daughter.
Her name is Athena.
