"Woah, this is way better than I expected, I guess because I was a lower level than what I should've been I got compensated. This really is just like a game" she remarked.

Seon-mi calmly stepped over Gachan's lifeless body, making her way toward the open space where the sliding door had once stood. Leaning against the door frame, she crossed her arms, observing the boy grappling with the aftermath of taking a life.

He was crouched over in the garden, throwing up, an appropriate reaction to what he had just done.

"I'm gonna have to help him get rid of these bodies, we can't call the police, even if this was self defence it would just be a huge hassle to deal with. Burning them or throwing them into a river would be the best option." she thought to herself.

The boy stood up and turned to face seon-mi.

"So, what's your name kid?" She asked.

"T-takumi, Takumi Saito" he replied with a small bow, a gesture of respect.

"Saito... why does that name ring a bell" she thought to herself.

"Listen up Takumi, I'm gonna help you get rid of these bodies, once that's over, you never speak of this matter again. You don't know me and I was never here. Got it?"

"Got it." He replied.

Seon-mi left for 30 minutes, returning with a rental van and necessary supplies. Working efficiently, they wrapped the bodies first in many layers of cling film and then in thick, industrial-grade trash bags.

Takumi opened the main front gate, allowing Seon-mi to back the van into the driveway. Together, they loaded the bodies into the van, taking advantage of the high walls that shielded the house from prying eyes. In a mere 10 minutes, the grim task was completed, leaving behind the aftermath of their confrontation, a chaotic scene that Seon-mi chose not to address.

"Well, I've done my part, take care of yourself kid" Seon-mi turned to leave out of the front door but Takumi still had something he wanted to address.

"Obasan wait!" He shouted, halting her in her tracks.

"Don't call me Obasan, I'm not that old" she retorted.

"I know you've done so much for me already, and I am truly grateful for that... it's just..." he hesitated for a moment.

"Well spit it out then, I have things to take care of."

He bowed deeply and shouted out "p-please train me, I want to be able to fight like you do!"

"Huh? Is this kid for real right now? What does he think this i-" a notification box appeared disrupting Seon-mi's thought.

"What's this? I can add him to my party? What does that even mean? There's even an option to kill him." Seon-mi thought for a moment then came to a sound conclusion.

"Tomorrow at 9am, be here. If you pass my test, I'll think about it."

He lifted his head, a bright smile playing on his face. "Thank you so much, Oba- I mean, miss. I'll be waiting at the front gate, 9 am sharp," he said.

"Miss sounds even worse than Obasan. How old does he think I am?" Seon-mi pondered to herself.

She turned, walked through the front door, got into the van, and drove off. Seon-mi knew exactly where to dispose of the bodies—the lake where she had awakened. If Yakuza used it to dump bodies, it meant nobody would go snooping around there, that was the conclusion she came to.

Arriving at the lake, a familiar scene as she'd been here just a few days ago, she backed the van right up to the water's edge and dragged the bodies out. Using the rope she bought, she found some heavy rocks and tied them to their feet. One after the other, she threw them into the lake, watching as they sank deep into the cold, dark abyss.

She stood there and watched as the last of the air bubbles floated to the surface.

"That takes care of that"

Seon-mi finally returned home.

"What a long day, what's the timer on?"

TIME REMAINING: 03:02:46

"It took me 3 hours the first time I did this. I'm a lot stronger and faster now, I should be able to clear it much quicker"

Wearing her trademark black tracksuit, Seon-mi put her ear buds in her ears and left out the front door, jogging down her street.

She returned after two and a half  hours, panting heavily as she walked through the front door.

"It has gotten a little easier but those exercises are seriously killer. My lungs feel like they're about to explode, and my body is sore all over."

"Hmm... the rewards are the same as the first time too. I guess I'll go with the coins again."

She pulled her hoodie over her head, letting it fling onto the floor as she passed the living room doorway. Dread enveloped Seon-mi as she glanced inside, and to her dismay, hanging from the ceiling fan were her father, mother, and little brother.

Falling back onto the floor, her heart raced, and she found herself unable to move as her throat dried up. Sweat started to accumulate on her body, and she began to shake. This PTSD episode was significantly worse than the one she experienced in the shower.

Her father's rope snapped, releasing him from his hanging position, and he began to walk towards her like a zombie.

"Why, Seon-mi? Why were you not here? You could've done something, you could've saved us. Why did you leave?" Her father's voice echoed, ghostly and haunting.

Tears streamed down her face as she cried uncontrollably. "I'm sorry, I-I'm so sorry! It's all my fault."

"Why, Seon-mi, why?" he continued.

Summoning what strength she had left, she rushed to the door and slammed it shut, snapping herself out of the traumatic hallucination episode. She knelt at the door for a moment, still crying, then eventually got up and walked up the stairs in a defeated manner.

As she reached her bed, she fell forward, face first onto the mattress, not bothering to take off her sweaty track pants. There she lay, in a bra and tracksuit bottoms, slowly drifting off to sleep.
