"Most likely they saw that Mara was a Psionic and they knew if they didn't take any drastic measures, they would lose this base anyway," Amber suggested.
The person in question frowned, "They might have more surprises inside, Captain. I cannot guarantee that I will be able to deal with everything as easily as we thought."
I nodded, "That just means we need to be more careful then. But what are the chances they have another mech like this? Ries? You said this was a construction mech?"
