I looked at the man sitting across from me who was smiling at me while looking over the top of his wine glass.
"What kind of bet?" I asked.
His grin widened and he clapped his hands together, "You have earned quite a lot of money, haven't you? Both from winning the Battle Royale and the bets you've placed on yourself?"
Oh no… Is this the part where they try to do something to you because they think you've won too much money or something?
I managed to hold back my sigh, "I wouldn't say we've earned a lot…"
He laughed, "Oh I was being rhetorical, of course you haven't earned a lot! That was… What? A hundred million Credits? Heck, even less than that right? Barely even qualifies as pocket change! What I meant was that you have quite a lot that you can make bets with!"
Right, this guy gave away several million for people to have fun on his station. This much money is probably really not a lot to him.
