"See! His eyelids twitched again, I swear I'm not lying!" she said as her eyes filled with horror, flashbacks of his tragedy began to pop up in her mind.

"What's all this commotion? Did I make it alive?" Conrad was puzzled as the voices of the servants tinged his mind, giving him headaches.

His eyes were still closed, so he didn't know what was happening outside except thinking he was in a hospital, surrounded by his colleagues and relatives.

"But why are these voices so unfamiliar? None of these voices sound familiar. Ahh, my head! I can't understand what they are saying, but hell, they are loud!"

All these cheery, loud voices celebrating the death of Reich really hurt his head, and he couldn't bear listening to them as he got pretty irritated by them.

"Why is this hospital bed so cold? It's also so stiff, I swear it's like I'm lying down on a marble floor."

Well, he wasn't wrong, his body lay down on the white marble while everyone looked at him.

"Do these people not have basic manners? They are so annoying, why can't they be silent for a damn minute!" He was getting more and more irritated as the voices only seemed to get louder and louder without stopping.

"Silence!" Conrad spoke up in a loud, commanding tone, silencing everyone on the veranda of the mansion.

Just at the right moment his mouth moved and words came out, the silence fell upon the place as if it was a mourning place, and people were mourning for their loved ones. But the silence wasn't due to the fact they were mourning for him, but because they were terrified that their nightmare had just spoken again, and as loudly as ever before.

Just a word from his mouth made them fall silent like the dead and made them break out in a cold sweat, not to mention the look of horror on their faces that had turned pale after hearing his voice once again.

"Good! Much better now!" He let out a sigh of relief in his heart as the peace filled his heart with tranquility.

He slowly tried to open his eyes to see the outside world again, as they were clearly shut for now.

Just when he opened them, they got blinded by the lights, as his eyes had been shut for quite some time, to say the least.

"Where am I? This isn't a hospital bed, and I'm lying on the floor. Who are these people, and why are they wearing the outfits of the maids and servants, and who am I?"

His brain was in shambles right after he opened his eyes and saw the unfamiliar and unknown scene unfold before his eyes. He was equally confused as those servants who had confirmed that he had died for sure and had zero chance of surviving, and he was also kind of startled and panicked seeing the whole new area that he had never seen in his previous life as Conrad, but he wasn't yet aware that he had transmigrated.

"Master, are you alright?" In the dead silence, one of the servants spoke, scared but breaking the cycle of silence and stares.

She was Sulvia, a young girl but slightly older than Reich, who was in his early twenties. She's a girl with distinctive silver hair and a pretty, small face, and she was also the one who least celebrated his death but celebrated nonetheless.

With her fragile body, she garnered enough strength to speak up to the terrifying master, while everyone was frozen right there after he had spoken.

'Master? Wait... where am I, seriously? This is not a hospital, and now she's calling me master... Just who am I?'

Her words baffled him and got him even more confused about his identity as he looked back at his beautiful maid, dumbfoundedly.

"I'm alright, just give me a hand now, I am feeling a little weak..." The response came naturally to him with the commanding voice he had.

It took a little bit of time for Sulvia to respond back and move her trembling feet, as she got closer to him and gave him a helping hand.

Everyone else just watched them and did nothing except be glued to their place.

'What is this grand place, and why does everyone seem to be so terrified of me?'

Many things were going on inside his mind, but he didn't fumble himself or say anything suspicious out loud, but looked at everything with wonder and confusion in his eyes, wondering what was this? Where am I? and similar stuff like that.

He also noticed the trembling body of his servant who helped him get up and wrapped his arms around her shoulder to help him walk.

"Are you afraid of me?" He asked his trembling servant, Sulvia.

"I-I-I..." She didn't know how to answer him and only moved her soft little pink lips, thinking of an answer that wouldn't get her killed.

'Damn, looks like I put her in a tough spot by asking this question just what kind of atrocities did I commit cause such a fear to surge up in my servants?'

It didn't take him long to realize that his question had put her in severe jeopardy due to his image in everyone's mind, and he quickly rephrased his question, "Looks like I have scared you, I am sorry for that, let me rephrase what I had just said..."

Everyone simply gasped, including Sulvia, to whom he was saying this too, because the unbending tyrant had apologized to a commoner like Sulvia in a kind and relaxed expression. No one could believe that the Reich who never showed any other side of him except being crooked and evil would show such an expression and apologize to a mere servant.

"Are you scared?" He rephrased his question with a noble tone.

"No, master, I am not scared," She stammered and shook her head.

The response was just as he had expected. She denied it, although he could see her legs trembling.

"Okay, as you say," He couldn't help but let out a small chuckle with a smile.

Everyone was getting dumbstruck each time he spoke because his behavior had taken a 360 out of nowhere.
