Her eyes widened briefly before narrowing again. "So that's your plan, to spar against me and win in front of everyone"
"I'm not that petty, I just wanted to spar with you"
She charged again, her movements fueled by raw determination, but she lost her form in the rush. I sidestepped her, swept my leg out, and gently knocked her off balance. Before she could recover, I placed my sword lightly against her back.
"Point," I said again, stepping back.
Mary stood, shoulders tense with frustration and she was staring daggers at me. She dusted herself off and looked at me.
"You said you're not petty, but that's exactly what you are, petty," Mary spoke, holding her wooden sword.
"Do you want me to let you win? I don't mind losing if you want," I muttered.
"And why would you let me win? Do you want people to think you're weak?"
