As Kimberly parked the car, she noticed the frown on Melvin's face as he looked at the car in front of the house.
"What?"
"It's Peter," he said, wondering why Peter had come over to the house unannounced.
Melvin picked up his phone to check if he had called before coming over, and only then did he see that Peter had given him two missed calls while they were out searching for the trinket shop, and he had left his phone in the car.
As they entered the house, Peter rose and set down his mug of coffee, his usual composed demeanor ruffled. "Mr. Craig, there's a problem," he announced, his voice tight.
Kimberly instantly straightened, sensing the urgency in his tone. "What is it?" she asked, her heart skipping a beat.
"The meeting scheduled for Monday with Mr. Davis," Peter began, glancing between them.
