Ruby lay on the bed with a small smile on her face. Although she still had the worries of the blackmail to think of, she couldn't help but think about Stefan and his sweet gesture.
As much as she felt guilty about deceiving him and having him show so much care for her because he thought she was on her period, she couldn't help but love the attention and care she was receiving from him.
A contented sigh escaped her lips as she replayed the scene from breakfast in her mind.
After eating she had wanted to take the dishes downstairs, but Stefan had walked in before she could open the door and had taken the tray from her.
"What are you doing? You should have called me," he had said and Ruby rolled her eyes.
"I'm just taking the plates downstairs. I'm not sick or disabled," she had complained.
