Kneeling in the garden, Venus plucked a delicate flower from the ground, her fingers brushing over the petals. She had hoped that by doing this simple task, she might finally push aside the memory of the kiss Odin had given her, one she knew he had done just to get under her skin. Yet, as she reached the last petal, she frowned at its silent message: 'I have feelings for him.' With a sigh, she tossed the flower away and slowly rose to her feet.
Shaking her head as if to clear her thoughts, Venus muttered, "Why can't I stop thinking about it? I need to find something, anything, to occupy my mind, or I'll keep dwelling on this." Determined, she made her way back into the house, only to freeze in her tracks when she saw Griffin and Odin inside.
The sight of Odin, in particular, made her heart race, and she felt a wave of dizziness wash over her. The last thing she wanted was to face him now, so she tried to quietly slip away, hoping they hadn't noticed her.
