"Clearly, you don't know me yet," Venus said, pulling her hand back. "Just leave," she added firmly.
"The rain is pouring," Odin replied, his voice tinged with frustration. "I don't want my clothes to get drenched. Changing again is such a hassle." He slumped back into the chair, his gaze drifting to the serene beauty of the rain-soaked green garden.
"Don't you miss your family?" After a while, Venus asked softly, her tone probing yet gentle.
Odin tilted his head to look at her, a mixture of surprise and irritation in his eyes. "I didn't expect you to dig into my past," he remarked, his voice was guarded.
"I merely asked a question," Venus responded in her calm voice. "If it bothers you, you don't have to answer." She now silently prayed for the rain to stop soon so that she could go back inside the house. She didn't want to sit next to Odin any longer. However, it didn't appear that the rain would stop anytime soon.
