Elliot's body had turned completely cold, his hands and feet were numb as the death engulfed him slowly. While Izaak had sent his family to the other chamber, he remained with Alaric in the sane chamber to keep an eye on Elliot.
"Why Magnus hasn't returned yet? Wasn't he supposed to be here?" Izaak looked toward the door.
"I think he has had a long conversation with Father," Alaric proclaimed.
"I wonder what Father has to say to him," Izaak murmured.
On the bed, Elliot's entire body was replaced with the new vampiric blood, his skin turning paler, his lips turning red. The deep wound on his neck had almost healed, his fingers and eyeballs showed movements.
Both the princes noticed the rapid changes happening in Elliot's body and knew Elliot would wake up any time.
The fresh blood for him was already brought by Zerah with a maidservant's help. He asked the maidservant to keep the jar and the cup on the table before they left the chamber.
