Alora, after rechecking the items, which she had considered as presents for her family members, put them in the four separate boxes. Selvina and Griffin helped her in this task while Magnus remained busy reading the parchments, which Griffin brought for him.
"Alora, tomorrow is your first day in the council. Are you ready?" Griffin asked.
"Yes, I am," Alora replied.
"I'll stay close by your side. So, if anyone bullies you, then–" he paused abruptly as Magnus intervened.
"Then, you don't have to save her. That responsibility is of her husband," Magnus pronounced as he shot a glare at Griffin.
"But what if Prince Magnus isn't around? Then, who will save Alora? As her friend, that responsibility will lie with me," Griffin affirmed, smiling as if he achieved something bigger.
"No one will bully Alora. They won't want to face my wrath," Magnus proclaimed.
