Magnus slowly got out of bed after planting a soft kiss on Alora's forehead. He exited the bedroom, closing the door behind him. As he came downstairs, his eyes fell upon Izaak, who was present in the living room, drinking the blood from the supplies that Tobias had left for him.
"You don't look well. Did Alora's family refuse to keep her with them?" Izaak questioned his brother, who had finally taken the seat.
"Norman isn't a good father. He always hated Alora and still does," Magnus said in annoyance and picked up the glass filled with blood from the table. As he took a few sips, he further said, "I couldn't kill them since Alora loves them."
Izaak amusedly gazed at him. "I never thought you would become so weak in love," he remarked.
"I am surprised at myself," Magnus admitted. "The day Alora's affection for those people ends, I will not let them live either," he blurted out, sounding so desperate to kill them.
