"Byron, As I said before, Eugene's family would have been punished to death anyway because they hid from everyone they were werewolves. Even the werewolves acknowledge this fact," Magnus stated a fact, which was absolutely right according to the law. 

 

Byron couldn't refute the claim. "I understand, and I must admit that Eugene and his family were in the wrong," he conceded. "However, Prince Magnus should not have resorted to taking their lives," he muttered, expressing his disappointment.

 

King Esmond sighed and rubbed his fingers thoughtfully, contemplating a fair resolution. "Byron, I believe it's best to bring this matter to a close. As the elder of the werewolves, you've acknowledged how Eugene and his family concealed their true identities and even falsified their status as humans to get Eugene wed to a human," he declared.
