The hospital was teeming with people. Jing Haohao took a seat for a while and, feeling her pain alleviate slightly, she got up. Before she could take a step, someone hurriedly took her seat.
Jing Haohao noticed that all the surrounding seats were filled with patients and their families. As a lone individual, she didn't want to linger, so she headed towards the elevator.
At rest, she hadn't felt much pain, but as she began to move, Jing Haohao realized it was still unbearable.
In the short distance to the elevator, she began to break out in a cold sweat. She rode the elevator down and slowly made her way towards the hospital exit.
As she descended the steps, her pain made her move with extreme caution, scraping down each step. As she reached the last step, someone rushed out of the hospital and bumped into her, causing her to tumble to the ground.
