The man sitting across her, Liang Chen, glanced at his phone and looking up at Jing Haohao, he said, "Haohao, I may need to go on a business trip tomorrow. I won't be able to come back until at least the 20th."
Jing Haohao blinked, staring at Liang Chen. Her mind went blank in an instant. She opened her mouth, finding her breath somewhat shaky. After a while, she finally asked, "You're going on a business trip?"
"Miss Su just sent a text saying there's a problem with the project in Shanghai. They need me to oversee it personally. Then the branch there is officially opening on the 18th. I won't be back until after the inauguration."
Liang Chen gave a detailed rundown of his schedule. However, Jing Haohao didn't have the emotional capacity to care about what was wrong with his project or when his branch office was opening. She was worried about how she would cope over the next two weeks or so. So, Jing Haohao simply nodded in response, muttering an "Oh".
