After finishing her meal, Jing Haohao walked out of the dining room. Liang Chen was still sitting on the sofa watching TV. The nighttime news was on, with a beautiful female anchor melodically reporting on one prosperous national event after another.
On hearing footsteps, Liang Chen didn't even turn his head, he simply said, "Nanny Lin, take Miss Jing upstairs for a bath."

After taking a bath, Jing Haohao immediately felt tiredness overwhelming her. It had only been one day, but she felt as though she'd stayed awake for many days without rest, utterly exhausted.
Jing Haohao fell asleep almost instantly after lying down.
Liang Chen only returned to the bedroom at midnight. He stared at the sleeping Jing Haohao for a long while before finally removing his clothes and sliding under the covers.
He always had someone following Jing Haohao, and the driver had called to inform him of how she'd cried alone in the desolate, snowy wilderness.
