The villa appears to have three floors, but in reality only two are used. The third floor consists solely of two large, empty rooms; one serves as storage, while the other is a grand piano room.
The second floor, however, has been divided into seven rooms: three guest rooms, a master bedroom, a study, and two vacant rooms.
Out of boredom, Jing Haohao had once ventured into the two empty rooms. Inside, beautifully decorated walls and hanging crystal chandeliers were paired with valuable murals. Yet, with no furniture in sight, the rooms felt stark and barren.
The room that was undergoing renovation this afternoon was one of these vacant rooms.
The door was half-open when Liang Chen arrived. With his hands in his pockets, he raised his chin towards the door and said, "Push the door open and have a look."
Jing Haohao stepped forward and pushed the door open, immediately stopping in her tracks, dumbstruck.
