Jing Haohao was so startled that she shivered all over, instinctively wanting to turn around and push away the person behind her. To her surprise, the person behind her had already beaten her to it and'd pinned her against the wall.
When Jing Haohao lifted her head, she saw Liang Chen's handsome face, inches away from hers.
She instinctively raised her hand to push him away.
Her waist was so thin that he could tightly clasp it with both his hands, stopping her from breaking free.
Feeling her attempts at pushing him away, he held her tighter and she ended up falling straight into his arms.
Jing Haohao's heart missed a beat. She could see the intense look in his domineering eyes which were staring hard at her, as if he could devour her at any moment.
They had already drunk a little in the afternoon, and now they had drunk some more. It was not too much, but it was enough for both of them to feel slightly intoxicated. When he opened his mouth, it smelled strongly of alcohol, "Miss Jing, I seem to owe you a word from that day we parted at the Four Seasons Hotel..."
Liang Chen intentionally paused, leaning over to Jing Haohao's ear, and said word by word: "....Good morning!"
His last two words, "Good Morning," were deliberately spoken in a soft and slow manner, signaling an underlying flirtatious intention.
Jing Haohao's cheeks turned red under the influence of Liang Chen's pleasantly-smelling masculine scent and the alcohol. She was struggling to make sense of her feelings and, unable to contain herself, made a desperate attempt to break free from his grasp. Despite her anger, she could only mutter: "Good morning, my ass!"
The more she struggled, the tighter he held her, pressing her against his chest. Even through their clothes, she could feel his warmth, scorching her skin.
Her panic grew at every passing moment. She lifted her hand and clung to his arm, raking her nails across his skin.
He stood there unyieldingly, looking at her flushed face, flushed either from anger or embarrassment. Her eyes, under the light, dazzled like lustrous gems, their beauty unparalleled.
Against the surge of an uncontrollable impulse that bubbled from within him, images from that passionate night together began to flood his mind. Lowering his head, he leaned in closer to her.
Feeling his hot breath against her skin, which was gradually getting closer, she retorted. Even though she was not particularly fond of using harsh words, she looked at him angrily and blurted out all the swear words she could think of: "Buzz off, you freak, let me go, you jerk…"
Her attempt at swearing lacked any real force, mirroring her looks: an adorable, soft little bunny.
Liang Chen almost laughed and reached his hand to play with her round and lustrous earlobe.
Jing Haohao snorted and turned her head away, avoiding his hand.
Liang Chen chuckled before reaching out again, holding her chin and lifting her face. Looking into her clear and distinct eyes, he said, "Do you really think I have forgotten what happened that night?"
Hearing his words, Jing Haohao felt a sudden jolt. Liang Chen continued, his voice deep and rich, dripping with an indescribable charm that was enough to send one's heartbeat racing, "From the moment I saw you, you've been looking at me with such enticing eyes. Could it be that you want to…"
Liang Chen noticed Jing Haohao's body trembling at his words, intentionally pausing before finishing his sentence, "... revisit our memory from a few nights ago? Honestly, I don't mind at all... as a matter of fact, I rather miss it. If you don't object, here, now, I can satisfy you..."
