"Did Xian'er help you?"
Jing Haohao steadied herself, raised her eyes and glanced at Liang Chen, somewhat self-satisfied, she said, "No, I fought alone."
No sooner had Jing Haohao finished speaking, than Liang Chen undid his seat belt. His upper body instantly lurched towards her side.
Jing Haohao was about to ask him what he was doing, but when she lifted her head and saw the look in Liang Chen's eyes, the words were abruptly halted in her throat.
The handsome man in front of her held a clear layer of worry and tension in his deep, beautiful eyes. Her heart, in that moment, felt as though it was wrapped in a warm tide, floating within it.
An emotion named warmth quickly filled her heart, leaving her at a loss for words.
Liang Chen didn't care about Jing Haohao's bewilderment, nor did he mind that the car was parked in the middle of the road, causing a serious obstruction. He only cared about reaching out to examine her body.
