After disembarking from the plane, Jing Haohao began to feel a pang of regret.
She hadn't expected that the temperature in Japan would be much lower than in Jiangshan City. Despite wearing a long skirt and coat, she could not stop shivering from the cold.
She hailed a taxi and headed straight for Tokyo, where she checked into a hotel. Jing Haohao then used the hotel's landline to place a call to the person in charge of the Japanese company mentioned in the contract.
The phone rang several times before finally being picked up. The atmosphere on the other end of the line was quiet, with a lilting Japanese tune playing softly in the background.
Jing Haohao couldn't speak Japanese, therefore she continued in Chinese, "Hello, I'm looking for Mr. Suzuki."
"May I know who is calling?" The person on the other end spoke in Chinese, though his intonation was a bit unstable.
"I am a representative from Haixin Group in Jiangshan City. I would like to meet with Mr. Suzuki," she mentioned.
