Jing Haohao nodded again and closed the car door.
Liang Chen rolled down his car window, gazed at Jing Haohao's retreating figure, and called out, "Haohao."
Jing Haohao halted and turned her head to look at Liang Chen.
Liang Chen stared into her eyes for a good while before he softly spoke, "If you don't want to call me, you can also find Nanny Lin, she will have everything prepared for you."
Jing Haohao's demeanor slightly faltered. Liang Chen smiled at her and said, "Go on."
Clutching the lunch box, Jing Haohao stood still, stunned for a while before she turned around and entered the hotel.
Liang Chen sat in the car, watched as Jing Haohao's figure vanished from his sight and was motionless for a good while. He then closed the car window, swallowed the stale air brought in by the whistling cold wind, slowly started the car and left.
Perhaps because he had just seen Jing Haohao, Liang Chen didn't feel particularly upset. But as he drove halfway, he suddenly felt uneasy.
