Liang Chen moistened his lips, stood up, and walked over to pick up an ointment. He squeezed out some more and applied it to Jing Haohao's wrist.
Jing Haohao subconsciously wanted to pull away, but she was exhausted and could hardly gather the strength to do so. In the end, she barely moved as she allowed Liang Chen to apply the ointment.
The ointment was chilly, spreading down her swollen and hot wrist to the bottom of her heart, making her feel incredibly cold.
After applying the medication, Liang Chen tried to lift Jing Haohao onto the bed. But she struggled to sit up and spoke in a hoarse voice, "I want to take a shower."
"Rest for a while before you go."
"I want to take a shower."
Jing Haohao repeated herself, sounding like a broken record.
Liang Chen hesitated for a moment before letting go of her arm. Without any hesitation, Jing Haohao turned and limped towards the bathroom.
