Nora and Talford arrived at a holiday house on the outskirts of the city. Before going into the house, she paused by the car and looked at Talford.
"I won't harm you," he said, thinking she was scared.
"I know." She replied.
However, she wouldn't take a step forward even though he had resumed walking. Talford paused and looked back at her.
Didn't she just say that she knew? Why was she still dilly-dallying about?
"Are you ok?"
She lightly shook her head, then looked down, feeling embarrassed to say the words. Talford walked back to her and stood before her.
"What problem have you encountered?"
Seeing her cheeks blushing deep pink with her head still lowered and fingers fidgeting, Talford seemed to have understood what the matter was. He turned her around and saw the red stain at the back of her pants, then looked back at her and smiled.
