Chapter 100 - hunting

"Huaa~ morning already?" I murmured, blinking away the remnants of sleep as the first light of dawn filtered through the trees.

I groaned and buried my head deeper into the leaves that I'd placed around myself for warmth.

 

*Sigh.* I was supposed to be sleeping on a luxurious bed, yet I am lying on a makeshift bed of leaves in order to tame a fox. The sacrifices we make for our passions, huh? I could barely sleep last night. The fox fur on my body did help against the cold winds. It is pretty amazing how my body adapted to it. Even the smell has become tolerable now. Even the scent, once overwhelming, has become familiar, almost soothing. And as I lie here, in the midst of the rustling leaves,
