The boss monster of the easy Beast Dungeon was some kind of cat beast. It was jet black with a tail that split into two about half way down. Alright! Just needed to beat this boss beast and this Dungeon will be cleared for a couple months.
Weaker warriors and younger children were in charge of these weaker Dungeons. Although if they were a bit lax no one would become too worried. Frankly most the time these Dungeons were left alone. Since even most children could handle things there was no need to worry. Instead resources were better put towards the more dangerous Dungeons.
The cat was watching me. At least that was why I thought it waited. Cats on earth would never attack if you were openly staring at them. Instead it charged me.
I rolled out of the way but barely. One of its claw grazed me.
I pushed metal elements from the ground and strung together Lightening in the air. The cat dodged them easily enough. All the while I was forced to avoid it. Talk about mental gymnastics!
Now! The claws that were just about to strike me jerked back as a grid of lightening snapped into place. "Well this has been fun," I smiled. An ice spear took form in my hands. "But I really think it's time to end this." I dashed towards the cat. It snarled at me. I had more than a few cuts on me. Time for some pay back.
I had asked last night and found out what that skill did. It was fairly dangerous for the user. Earth spikes shot up from the ground. They enclosed the beast. I wanted to make sure it could not escape. I let instinct overtake intelligence. Ice spears formed in the air and fell as I stabbed

"Level five," I said. Alaric looked at me. So I looked at him. "What?"
"It should be higher. You Solo cleared this Dungeon. What about your Stats?"
"Higher than they should be for my age," I sighed. "Considering the average Humans Stats in adults is around 100. Not including Stamina since that has tends to vary greatly."
He blinked at me, "You are not Human, Aurora."
"My bloodline is weak and I was born Human," I pointed out to him as we made our way out of the Dungeon.
"But you are not Human. Not anymore. You are Human."
I rolled my eyes, "So what? I will still be an adult at 16. What should my stats be?" I laughed.
Everyone stopped and looked at me. "16?" The red haired guy asked.
Alaric glared at him and lifted me into his arms. He moved swiftly toward the exit. "A few things. First, Vampires and not adults until they are 22. Among Humans you maybe considered an adult, but for us you will be a minor and protected until you reach 22. Second, an teen Vampire, at age 14, can expect to have a strength stat of 200. One of your current bloodline should see a strength of 100 to 125 at 14."
I felt my eyes widen. "I have a very long way to go then."
"How long?"
I sighed, "Currently mine is 45."
He kissed my forehead, "That is good. You haven't been a Vampire for long."
I groaned, "At this rate I will never know where we stand with eachother. You keep going from formal to informal. I live by Human standards then I live by Vampire."
Alaric looked at me. "I'm trying to figure out where we stand. Vampires are a hierarchical society. You are a child, have no class, and can not use your parents as an indicator for where you will far. Other Vampires will default to my rank when addressing you because Beloved often share the same rank or similar."
"So what's the problem Alaric? I will have the class of Lady once I finish the quests. Treat me like your peer."
"You are my Beloved and my ward. You will not be my peer for a very long time," he sighed.
I clenched at him as we stepped through the exit. The mounts were on the other side waiting for us. Even with my resistance, neausa gripped me hard.
"My lord," Alaric turned to the call. "I believe this belongs to your Beloved." Minx held an egg out to me. It was the biggest egg I had ever seen. Pale white with grey flecks I could almost mistake it for a rock if not for the shape.
"What is it?" I asked.
"That is your mount... Should you choose to hatch it. Some have to buy a mount but others like you are gifted one by the Gods. They are called Dungeon Drops. They are anything but rare in high level Dungeons."
Minx nodded, "It is uncommon to find one in such a small Dungeon. Then again you are God Blessed."
I reached for the egg and took it. It was an large egg. Heavy. The shell was thick under my hands. "What is it?" I asked again looking at Alaric. He sighed and continued forward.
"Your mount," he said again.
I rolled my eyes, "What specifically is it? Do wolves and horses come out of eggs like this too? The horses that pull the shopping carriage were born in town."
Alaric chuckled, "Sorry for misunderstanding the question. No, wolves and horses do not come out of eggs. They can still be a Dungeon Drop but those are typically captured from a Dungeon so it is much different. Since you got an egg, it will likely be a bird or reptile of some kind. You may have to tame a second beast if the one in the egg is not big enough for you to use as a mount though."
"As long as it is not an amphibian." I shuddered at the thought. Absolutely not. I scanned the egg as we made our way back to camp. By that I mean Alaric held me as he rode the wolf.

-Dungeon Drop egg for God Blessed Child. Visit a Temple for more information.
Maybe I should visit Mor again. It has been a while since I last saw any of the Gods. Not since I started training. "On the way home can we stop by the temple of Mor?"
"Is he your Patrion?" Minx asked.
Now how to answer that? "He could be. My Patrion does not want to be known so it is uncertain. However, Mor has always been happy to have me visit him. Since I have to get the egg checked out anyway..." I trailed off with a shrug.
The red haired guy chuckled. "You talk as if you know the God."
I blinked at him as he and several others laughed. As if the idea was absurd. "He is the Patrion of Dad. Of at least he has some sway over Dad. Why else would that be the first temple I went to? By the way I know most five Gods in some extent. Pretty sure Mor gave me my Blessing in Language."
He glared at me. "Mor is the God of Death. His crows carry souls into his Domain."
"So he would be well versed in all languages." No way was I gonna tell him or anyone else that I actually had a sit down with Gods more than once. That would get me in trouble. I already stood out enough.
"Tonight we camp!" Alaric yelled. He glared at the man. "Tomorrow we will head to the temple of Mor before heading back to NightLeaf Estate." I couldn't wait to show off my tamed beast. Whatever it was it had to be better than Kaden's horse.
I was so focused on my egg I never saw Alaric's arm coming. He had bitten himself again. I moaned. I would never tire of his blood.
