Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Jagged canines escaped its maw, that looked like it stretched from ear-to-ear. Beady amber eyes that looked like they only contained bloodlust and zero intelligence. Covered in coat of black fur and standing at eye level, was a black wolf.

Its body was covered in burly muscules and its four limbs ended in ferocious claws, each looking like they could tear through steel. It looked at Will with only word in mind.

Prey.

Will was momentarily dazed by what he was seeing, but that was a mistake he shouldn't have made. Zoning out in front of a apex predator, could you get anymore stupider than that.

As if feeling that its prey wasn't paying attention, the wolf's visage blurred and disappeared from Will's sight. The next thing he knew, he was starring at the sky and a taste of iron graced his tongue.

Bang!Bang!Bang!

His body crashed through several trees, bringing them down on top of him and buried him.

Not a moment later, the wolf appeared at the wreckage of the fallen trees. It's beady eyes unmoving from the pile of toppled trees, as if waiting for something to happen.

Meanwhile Will finding himself pinned to the ground, couldn't see a thing. He was buried under a few trees and the leaves was blocking his sight.

Ding!

He heard the notification sound and a window appeared before him.

[-4678 HP ]

'Crap, that's why it hurt so much!!'

His chest felt like it was on fire, and every attempt at movement felt like he was being stabbed by a knife.

It was the most horrendous feeling he felt in his life. If not for the adrenaline coursing through his veins he would long have fainted.

'Fuck, what am I gonna do!?'

He was pretty sure that...wolf or whatever the fuck that was, was still waiting for him beyond these trees. How could he be so certain of himself, simple, what predator would give up injured prey. That's essentially free food without the hassle.

The way he saw it there was only two options before him. That's either to play dead beneath this pile and pray to whatever god he could think of that the creature would leave him be. The second option was to try and fight that thing and hope for a miracle. He didn't have a lick of trust in any of these two plans, and only saw two roads leading to an early grave.

Creak!Bang!

The sudden noise startled him, causing him to move around and agrivating his injuries.

[-245 HP ]

'Fuck!'

The stabbing pain reminded him not to move.

Creak!Boom!

This time the noise appeared again, followed by the pressure on his back slightly elevated.

'Is something clearing the trees?'

When he thought about this his mind immediately started racing as his heart beat skyrocketed.

'G..od wh..at did I d..o to deserve this?' His eyes began to tear up at the thought of being eaten alive. Resentment weld up inside his chest at whomever brought him to this hell hole of place.

'Fuck you! I hope you burn in the pits of hell!! May they desecrate your grave with shit!!! I hope your family dies before your own god damn eyes!!! I hope your daughters gets defiled and sold to a damn brothel....'

He continued spewing venom as he waited for the inevitable. But even that choice would be taken from him.

Ding!

[ Due to the user's current predicament the skill [Celestial Armament(max)] will undergo forceful activation.]

'Huh'

The wolf was currently busy lifting a fallen tree trunk with his maw when it suddenly came to a stop.

It threw down the tree without a second thought and looked at the the remaining pile.

It lowered its body and released several low bone chilling growls, as if weary of the pile...or what's underneath.

Ten seconds flew by without any movement, as the wolf's growls were all that could be heard...until.

Boom!!!

A explosion of dust and winds appeared where Will was buried. The winds lashed out like cracking whips and hit everything nearby, leaving deep gashes in them.

Even the wolf had to move back, dodging all the winds heading in its direction.

After reaching a relatively safe distance, the wolf looked at the point where the winds converged.

Behind the curtain of dust clouds it could make out a silhouette donned in what seems like heavy plate armour looking in its direction.

As the dust began to settle the wolf heard a boisterous voice boldly proclaiming.

"You done fucked up, you miserable mutt!!"
