Chapter 31 - As Expected Of Our Young Master!

"Come." The Young Master stood up and raised his arms to the side. "Walk with me, would you?"

"It would be our pleasure, Young Master." Both answered at once after a short moment, before linking arms with him.

'One floor to get to our rooms, three mores to get here... Should be able to see it from here.' Lei thought as he walked towards one of the numerous glass walls from which the Jade City could be seen, lit up by countless lanterns. The grand hall was the only area with glass walls.

"Which floor are we on?"

"The fourth one, I believe, Young Master."

"Is that a trick question?"

"How do you like it here? I hope everyone treated you well."

The two were slightly taken aback by the question. Since when do Young Masters care about how other people fare?

"With nothing but courtesy, Young Master."

"How do you like the banquet so far?" The blonde asked as she pulled her body closer to the Young Master's.

The brunette, refusing to concede, pulled closer too. Her bosom was curvier, so she doubted she could lose in that department.

From the right and from the left, Lei could feel their soft breasts push against his arms.

"I'm sure it'll only get better." The Young Master answered confidently, and they smiled.

The three walked from one side of the grand hall to the other while exchanging pleasantries.

'Oh, perfect.'

In the distance, and hidden by the darkness was,

Clairvoyant Tiger's Eyes-

All of a sudden, Lei's sight became much clearer. Cutting through the darkness and piercing through the distance, it allowed him to watch.

 ***

"Someone like you should be lucky that the Young Master even remembers your existence." Ui Feng said before throwing the plate of delicacies in Lyu's direction.

Of course, he used just enough force for her to be unable to grab hold of it before it hit the ground. The plate broke, and the food fell onto the muddy earth of the stables.

***

Lei couldn't hear, but there was no need to.

'Looks like he started shouting...' Lei directed his gaze towards the one he really cared about. 'Borara is growling but... Yeah, Ui Feng is staying a safe distance away. Plus he's chained up. Those chains... Isn't Lyu too close? She really doesn't fear that Beast, huh? I'll have to make it-'

"Young Master, is that...?"

"Elder Shilu? Is anything wrong?"

"No, it's just..."

Lei turned around, and he finally noticed that all eyes were on him.

Elder Shilu was walking closer.

"Could that be the 'Clarvoiyant Tiger's Eyes' Technique?"

"Haha! You must be mistaken, Elder."

"No... There's no way I would mistake it. That's-"

"This?" The Young Master pointed at his eyes. "It's a well-known Technique?"

"Well, of course, Young Master." The Elder seemed slightly embarrassed, as he didn't want to offend the Young Master. Still, it was worth investigating. "The Clairvoyant Tiger Sect is a much smaller Sect than ours, and it is separated from us by a couple of Sects... That's why I'm wondering... When did you learn such a Technique? A Technique from another Sect?"

Their eyes.

All waited for the Young Master's answer.

He could feel the women at his sides slightly pull back.

Lei pulled them back closer.

"It is? Huh. This was just something I tried to do during the Trial of Solutide, to combat the darkness within... I didn't think it was another Sect's Technique." He answered before bringing a hand to his chin.

"Young Master, do you mean that... You learned another Sect's Technique... Without knowing about it?"

"As one would expect from our Young Master!" Shi said suddenly as he walked closer. He turned around the face the rest of the Disciples, as well as the Elders and Instructors. "The Young Master didn't just learn it! It's more like he... Like he invented it!"

Lei knew exactly what the Disciple was getting at. But it was completely in his favor, which is why,

"That's a bit of a stretch, Shi." The Young Master humbly.

"It really isn't, Young Master! The fact that you didn't know about the Technique means that... Despite sharing a resemblance with the Clairvoyant Tiger Sect's Technique, this Technique of yours is an Original! That's right, a Zhao Laohu Original Technique!!"

"That is... That is true." The Elder nodded as he stroked his long beard.

"That's right! That's right! Our Young Master is just that amazing!" Fui stepped forward. "Such a Sect's Techniques are child play for our Young Master! Once again this shows..."

"The difference between the Young Master's Sect, and the other Sects, which all turn out to be inferior! Haha!" Jin continued.

Fui and Jin's tones were filled with so much humor that all couldn't help but laugh and raise a toast to the Young Master and his undeniable talent.

"That's our Young Master for you!"

"Older brother really is amazing!"

"The One-Eyed Tiger's Pupil Technique must be next on the list, huh?"

"I wonder if the Young Master could learn that too without..."

Even more than earlier, Lei could feel their supple breasts pushing against his arms.

'Safe...'

Lei raised his glass.

"I suppose the One-Eyed Tiger's Pupil Technique will be next. Can't have people thinking that I would step as low as to seek other Sects for guidance!" At his words, all raised their glasses once more.

Lei sighed internally, and his gaze went back to the stables.

Ui Feng was gone, and Lyu was standing next to the Silver-Grade Beast's head. The latter was staring in the direction that Ui Feng had come and left from. She stroked the Beast's head gently while trying to seduce it with a chicken thigh.

'Sharing with the Beast, huh?'

"The Young Master's talent is undeniable!"

"One day, the whole Jade City will be yours, won't it, Young Master?"

Their tones were cheerful and they seemed filled with amazement. They didn't get to watch the Jade City from such a seat often.

"Is that what you tell every Young Master you try to seduce?"

The question made their hearts sink immediately.

Lei was a great liar and a great actor. In his past life, many suffered from trusting him, his acting, and his overwhelming confidence. But he never thought of himself as a great liar, or as a great liar. No. What Lei thought of himself as was... A great bullshitter!
