"Gugugugugugu…!" The Butcher downed another bottle of alcohol.
Unlike previously though, the Butcher was no longer drinking out of the joy of it, rather, he was drinking out of frustration.
For the first time in almost a decade, the anniversary didn't feel as exciting to him.
It was not just because of Chloe's absence.
Perhaps, it was a nagging feeling, call it but his subconscious kept on giving him signs that this night won't be as carefree as he expected.
He was not scared though, he was invincible.
He was only irritated due to the inconvenience that may come.
"Boss, you want more?" Gregor offered generously.

The Butcher snatched the bottle of beer from his subordinate as he poured everything down, emptying it inside his belly.
"Hahaha!" Gregor laughed loudly.
"That's more like it?"
"By the way, where the hell is that boy-girl?" Gregor complained. "Is he still looking around for Chloe?"
