'Monsters!'
'Freaks!'
Bear Fighter Jones felt like he was going crazy as he disappeared into the coverage of the bamboo forest, he felt fortunate that it was night.
He didn't just run completely though; his gang was back there.
Hiding behind a thick bamboo tree a few hundred meters away from their hideout, he stared, still amazed at the size of the 2 freaks.
'They should be at most 16 or 17!' He felt that the heavens were unfair.
'When I was 16, what was I doing? Chasing after those street girls with big ass?' He felt like his life was wasted, he wanted to cry.
The remaining astral travelers of the Bearman Gang could not move.
"…!"
They were still suffering the effects of the crazy shock that just hit them moments ago. 'How on earth?!'
'What in the name of motherf*cking f*ck!'
'How?!'
One of them, one of the only 4 peak tier Legionnaire Stage Warriors tried to sneak away only for the girl to speak.
"Move and die".
"Yes, ma". This warrior sat on the ground with invisible tears on his face.
None of them dared move.
Freya threw one glance at the red-haired man, the second in command of this gang who already fainted due to the pain and blood loss.
She went to apply first aid treatment to him and as she did, she asked.
"Is he gone?"
Whoosh!
Ramon flicked his sword, removing all the residual blood away from it then with rage still in his eyes, he looked towards the north where the man that just escaped, Bear Fighter Jones now hid watching them silently.
This man almost piss his pants when he felt the gaze of the young boy.
'F*ck!' He screamed in his mind, completely flabbergasted.
'Such terrifying perception!"
'That is unfair!' He felt like crying.
And again, that was his cue to jakpa.
It also gave him an idea of the fate that befell his scout, Ego.
'Those 2 are freaks!' Exclaiming in his mind, this astral traveler no longer hesitated as without hesitation, he gave up on his gang.
Bear Fighter Jones decisively escaped out of this bamboo forest.
He already gave up; he would go again in another region.
"He's gone". Ramon said as he looked at Freya.
"Got it," This girl nodded as she finally stood up, having applied first aid to the terribly injured red-haired man who was now unconscious.
"Hahaha!" A loud voice reverberated the next moment.
It was Jolly, the spoiled brat who was inside the animal cage.
"Good work". He clapped. "What a display!"
"Took you long enough, now come free me from this cage!" He commanded.
Freya did not complain as she walked forward. On the way, she nudged Ramon. "Good job, you executed your part of the mission to perfection".
"No," Ramon grabbed her hand, stopping her.
"Huh?" Freya was confused.
"The mission is not complete yet". Ramon's grip on his sword tightened.
Ramon turned his head to look at the cowering gangsters, then he demanded. "Who killed the girl whose head you sent to the Macintosh's?"
They hesitated.
"Who killed her?!" Ramon roared as they shuddered.
"It's Sir Gaik". A few gangsters instinctively answered at the same time.
"Who's Sir Gaik?"
Most eyes instinctively looked towards the unconscious man.
"Thank you," Muttering this, Ramon stepped forward as finally understanding what he was up to, Freya grabbed his hand.
Ramon turned his head to look at her.
"Don't do it". She stared into his eyes. "We already accomplished our mission".
Ramon shook his head. "To me, its incomplete without doing this".
"I have my principles". Ramon showed a rare serious look on his face as Freya paused, letting him speak.
"Killing without reason or even petty reasons, I hate it!" He gritted his teeth. "He slaughtered that girl for no reason!" He growled.
"It's only natural that he pays by dying too".
Ramon tried to move but Freya held him back. "Don't do it".
Ramon looked into her eyes. "If I don't do it, there's no use in training to get stronger".
Freya sighed. "Ok".
Walking closer, Ramon sheathed his sword back as he grabbed the red-haired man by his hair with his left hand even as his right hand unleashed a hot back hand slap across his left cheek.
TWAK!
The red-haired man woke up with a start and he was assaulted by pain.
"Arghh…!" Ramon squeezed his mouth with his right hand, muffling the sound.
He looked him in the eye. "Why did you slaughter her?"
This man's eyes finally focused on the boy, then thinking of the question, he laughed amid his pain. "Whwo?" He asked incoherently.
"The girl, why did you slaughter her?"
"Whehehe," He laughed. "I'm an aswral trasveler, we vdon't wneed veasons vo kill".
Ramon closed his eyes. "So be it, I'm also an astral traveler".
With his red hair, Ramon raised and threw this man up, then...
Whoosh!
He unsheathed his sword, slashed once, and sheathed it back.
Sir Gaik lost his head.
Freya's face did not change as she witnessed this. 5 years in Centerpoint Astral Academy was a lot, they already killed more than once.
Though not entirely used to it yet, they were not strangers to death.
"All of you remaining, tie yourselves up".
"Yes, ma". All the astral travelers in this gang obeyed without any objection and in just a few minutes, they tied themselves up.
Going to the cage, Freya brought out her dagger and one swing with it was all she needed to cut the padlock open.
"Ahh!" Jolly moaned loudly. "Finally, I'm free again".
He stretched, then he looked at the gangsters who made fun of him a few minutes ago, he laughed. "Kill them all!" He demanded.
Freya was taken aback. "Why?"
"Do I need a reason to kill them? I said kill them all!"
He rubbed his nose. "They humiliated me, they can't live after that".
Ramon appeared before this light brown-haired boy the next moment. "No".
"What?"
"I said no, we're killing no one". Ramon repeated.
"A privileged young master like you won't know but you think all of them wanted this life?" Ramon stared Jolly in the eyes. "They made mistakes, took wrong decisions but for some of them, life pushed them to take these decisions".
"Do you know if it was to feed their family that they joined this gang?"
"Do you know if it was to get treatment money for a loved one?"
"They don't deserve to die unless proven guilty of having killed innocents".
"The Lightning Manor will send experts," Ramon paused to catch his breath. "They will determine if they are guilty or not and will ditch out the appropriate punishment".
Feeling the intense gaze of this boy that looked younger than him penetrating into his soul, Jolly flinched and harumphed.
But just as he was about to leave, Ramon held his hand.
Freya wanted to stop him but it was already too late.
He looked into Jolly's eyes. "Why did you allow your girlfriend to be killed?"
"Your family is rich, could you not have negotiated with them to spare her life? Why did you allow her to be killed?"
"Ah! Her?" Jolly chuckled. "She was just one of my flings".
"It was her bad luck that she was with me when it happened".
"I have a tendency of not liking people with bad luck so it's kind of a good thing she died or after this, I would have killed her with my own hands".
"…!" Ramon said nothing but he shook in rage.
"Ramon," Freya pushed him by the chest. "Control yourself".
Ramon clenched his fists tightly for a few seconds before unclenching them, then he looked away. "You disgust me".
"What?"
"What did you just say?"
"He said nothing". Freya defended Ramon but Jolly was not having it.
"Hey! What did you say?"
"You f*cking brat!"
"What's your family name?"
"I'll show you that the Macintosh family cannot be messed with!"
Ramon walked out on him; this was the only way to control the rage that was bubbling through his heart at this moment and threatening to take over his mind.
"Hey! What's his name? Tell me bitch!"
Freya ignored him until the warriors from the Lightning Manor arrived.
"Thank you," The leader of the entourage sincerely thanked the little girl. "This gang has been giving us a lot of headaches, what you achieved is impressive".
"Did you do this alone?
"No, but my partner already left".
"Oh!" The man still smiled brightly. "Anyways, extend our gratitude to him".
"I will".
Having heard of the news, an entourage from the Macintosh family also came, including Jolly's older sister who slapped and started scolding him on the spot just as Jolly was about to accuse his 2 rescuers.
With tears on his face, he was dragged home.
Freya also finally left; their mission was complete.
