It was quiet as usual inside the pit, then all of a sudden, it sounded.

The loud sound of whirring machinery reverberated and, in a few seconds, the extremely heavy metal cover of this pit was opened.
With the lid to the abyss open, light finally shone inside for the first time in a month, illuminating the deep darkness of this pit.
The face of a beautiful lady appeared through the opening the next moment as she peeped into the deep abyss to see nothing.
"Ashiz, what do you think? Is he still alive?"
"Umm, Lord Captain, the abyss is a notorious location of punishment. My best bet is that the boy is already dead".
"No matter how strong he is, he's still just a boy".
"And like you said, mature and veteran warriors even commit suicide inside, who knows? Maybe he committed suicide?"
"Commit suicide?" Ramon scoffed as he finally walked out. "You seem to forget a lot, committing suicide is for the weak".
