"Hm?" Alex looked around, he saw everyone was down for some reason, they never talked and just did what they had to do.
"Hello, can you tell me what is going on here brother?" Alex asked one of the burly guys going on the street.
Everyone listened to this, they were also very interested in what could have happened that dampened to mood of an extremely rich and beautiful city like this.
"Huh? You don't know this? oh i see, you guys must be travelers..." The burly man looked around and smiled.
"It's just, that the governors announced that merchants from the mainland would not come here this year..." He said this.
"What why?" Andrei asked shockingly.
"Nobody knows brothers, it seems like every communication that we had with the mainland simply stopped one time, we don't know what happened there, no sound came out or got out from there... i don't know why Governors don't send any scouts there but... that is all" The Burly man stopped and walked away.
"What the underworld could have happened to the mainland..." Alex thought about this, he knew the Mainland here was called Athens, Athens was an enormous city in history as he knew it, especially now where freaking superpowers existed.
Alex thought Athens would be one of the most protected cities on this weird planet.
How could anything have happened to that?
"Let's go," Andrei ordered, he also furrowed his eyebrows, he had been on the mainland a lot of times and he knew not even Spartans with their enormous power would be able to break through its defenses.
It was impenetrable and impossible to even try to go in.
Everyone followed Andrei.
"We are going to buy the supplies and get out of this place," Andrei ordered.
"Yes, Captain!!!" Everyone nodded.
Alex was walking with them thinking about his senses, he felt extreme danger from this city like he felt in Demetrius, this place looked like it was about to be squashed by a meteor or something.
"(No, do i feel paranoid about Athens?)" Alex thought about what happened to Athens.
He then shook this thought out of his head and went to stores to buy what he needed.
Boys didn't have any money anymore so they bearly could get enough money to buy things for the journey.
"Let's go." Andrei finished buying everything and rushed towards the carriage.
"This is the final city we will have to go to, then we are going straight to Tricca," Andrei said to everyone and he sighed in relief, this wasn't the most dangerous journey he had been on in his life, but for God's sake, it was most stressful for some reason.
He had not been a leader for almost 13 years and this showed how rusty he was.
"Yes, Captain." Everyone followed Andrei.
But Alex stayed for a moment.
"Hm Alex?" Andrei asked.
"Captain, i know what you said about disobeying your orders but i need to see that." Alex pulled his hand up to point at one Pantheon that was enormous and far away from them.
Andrei tried not to get mad.
"Alex, we are not here for sightseeing..." He got interrupted.
"A few hours, please, i will not be able to rest if i don't see that thing, i feel something, my paranoia gets extreme when i look in that direction, please Captain... please," Alex said to Andrei.
Andrei looked back, he was about to say no.
"Captain, Alex'es senses saved us before, everyone owes him our life, just give him this," Dimas said this to Andrei.
"ALRIGHT!!! you have one falling off the sand." Andrei took out the sand clock.
"Before this site goes down, you have just that." He said this.
"Alright, so one hour," Alex said and rushed towards the Cathedral.
Everyone looked at him and how he rushed over.
Alex was running with all his might, he was 100 times stronger than he was before, and he felt extremely powerful energy just rushing inside of him.
He stopped when he reached the entrance.
"Oh my god..." He looked over and saw one of the most detailed carvings of his entire life, the pillars supporting the Pantheon had the most detailed drawings Alex had ever put his eyes on before.
This was something he never expected to happen, he never expected to be fascinated by something so much that the entire world stopped spinning for him.
"I don't have time to look at this." Alex rushed into the Pantheon.
People were on their feet inside and an enormous statue of Zeus was put in the center.
Around Zeus, you could see countless offerings and enormous amounts of fruit.
Alex calmly walked over to the statue.
Zeus was depicted as a hunky man with big shoulders, it was golden so Alex couldn't see the colors but he could see Zeus was wearing traditional Greek armor and had... shaved beard and long hair.
"Well I'll be damned, this is the first time i have seen a depiction of Zeus like this, most other statues depicted him as a hunky old man with an enormous beard and big power." Alex smiled and looked up, Zeus held his lightning bolt and looked like a young man with an enormous Aura.
Alex looked around to see what he was feeling paranoid about and something caught his eye, he walked around the statue of Zeus and saw an entrance on the wall.
"Hm?" Alex walked over to that entrance, he wanted to know where it was going.
"This exit is only allowed for Hiereus travelers." A kind old man with a red robe said this to Alex.
"Oh, of course." Alex looked over and sighed in relief, looks like this was where he felt the paranoia from.
He was relieved because it wasn't a natural disaster like Hydra or something like that.
He didn't know if this was an inner city conspiracy or some plan to take over the governors but Alex didn't care.
As long as he was safe, he didn't care if this city fell into the underworld.
Alex rushed out of the Pantheon...
Not noticing, a little glint in the eyes of the old man had lost his smile.
--
"So did you find what you were searching for?" Andrei asked.
"Yes, and looks like there was nothing to worry about, let's leave." Alex jumped on his carriage and waved his hand.
Andrei shook his head and smacked the donkey.
*YEEE--HAAAWWW*
Donkey rushed over to the exit.
They paid the fee to leave and went towards Tricca.
The city that would decide Jason's life.
But what they didn't know...
Their life was already in danger.
A few dark shadows followed their tracks.
