"What???!!! Why..." Boys got up and looked at Alex, he was sweating bullets, he looked like he had just gone through years of cardio.
"GO GO GO!!!" Alex said this to Andrei.
"Tell us what is happening Alex." Andrei looked back and said this to Alex.
"I TOLD YOU TO GO!!! DAMN!!!" Alex jumped over the seat and smacked the donkey.
*HEEE-HAAAWWW*
Donkey jumped the its legs and rushed away in the roads.
*BSGHHHGGHGGGGH**
"AGHHG!!! Careful." Everyone was moving around in the carriage, this looked like a drifting scene Alex trying to make donuts on the road.
"What is happening Alex, explain it to us," Andrei said.
"I don't know... i just..." Before they even talked about what Alex felt... everyone looked back.
*BSGHHGHGHHGGGGTTTTT*
The entire cliff they were a few seconds ago got destroyed... like a natural disaster it just slid down the mountain.
"What was that..." Everyone had their palms go cold, if they stayed there for a few seconds more... they would have died immediately.
"Was that a natural avalanche?" Anzhel asked.
"No, i felt like something... i felt like something was rushing to us with enormous speed, something evil, something fast..." Alex said this and wiped his sweat as he slowed the carriage.
"How did you..." Andrei was shocked.
"I... need to drink some water." Alex took out a wooden bottle and drank it fully.
"Are you alright Alex? you look extremely pale." Ivan came close to Alex and put his hand on him.
Alex looked up and smiled "I am alright, just lightheaded, please..." Alex pulled his hand and invited Andrei to the driver's seat.
He went to his seat and sat down looking up.
"Do you need us to make some breeze?" Dimas asked.
"No, no... i am alright..." Alex closed his eyes and felt the breeze.
He had never, in his entire life on earth felt this much fear before, even when looking death in the eyes he was mostly calm, he now felt like just fear alone was enough to kill him, the thing he felt was too strong, too evil, it was too dark, it seemed like to emit the scent of absolute destruction, death and decomposing... it was too... scary.
"What happened," Anzhel asked when he looked at Alex.
"I don't know, i didn't feel anything." Dimas looked around, the forest was as green as you could think of, and it was beautiful under the sun.
"This wasn't normal." Miloslav fully seriously said this.
Only Andrei looked up and said nothing.
"Sound i heard before this happened was like..." He got interrupted by Alex.
"Ghosts screaming at your ear, screeching sounds of fingernails trying to scratch off rocks, sounds of ghosts talking... right?" Alex opened his eyes and said this.
"Y..es" Andrei answered.
"Damn... that is very confusing..." Anzhel sat down to think about what could be that scared Alex so much.
"Let's just get out of here, Pharsalus is very close..." Andrei said this and rushed over to the end of the mountain.
"Yes, Captain." Everyone answered.
--
It was night, the skies were dark and stars were shining on them.
Alex was sitting in front of a tree looking up at the sky next to a fireplace. stars were shining on his head.
"What are you thinking of Alex." Anzhel got close and asked this.
"What was the thing i felt, you don't understand... the fear i felt back then far surpassed anything i felt in the past, it was suffocating... like i was about to die just by sensing it," Alex responded and drank the alcohol Andrei bought.
"I see.. by the way, when did you gain this kind of sense?" Anzhel asked, if Andrei didn't feel like anything, someone that is grown in the wars listening to their enemies dying, how did Alex manage to sense something so powerful?
"I don't know... since the ship, i feel like my senses have gotten extremely powerful... more and more time by time day by day i feel becoming more powerful..." Alex answered, he pulled the wooden bottle and drank his drink...
"You drink weirdly..." Anzhel noticed Alex's way of drinking, he was holding the bottle in the middle, not at the top like everyone.
"Yeah... drinking?... wait..." Alex pulled his head up and looked at the bottle...
"I am drinking yes..." He looked at Anzhel and said.
"I AM DRINKING!!!" He screamed out.
Everyone looked at him weirdly.
"Yes? What's wrong..." Anzhel twitched when Alex hugged him.
"You are a genius Anzhel!!!" Alex rushed out to the carriage to take out something.
Anzhel stood there dumbfounded...
"What has gotten into him." He scratched his head.
Alex rushed towards the carriage and looked through his bag.
"I am so dumb, oh my god i am so stupid!!!" Alex almost facepalmed on not figuring this out before.
"Here!!!" Alex took out Kykeon.
"This is the reason my perspective has gotten so much stronger, this thing makes my senses extremely smart." Alex smiled like a crazy person, he looked inside of the bottle, and about 80 % of it was still left.
He never had a chance to drink it all as Alex could only take a few sips before falling asleep, and looks like Andrei only drank a little bit of it.
Alex looked at the drink and thought about it.
"Do i? do i drink it fully, just force myself?" Alex sat down in the carriage, obviously this was a magical drink, he didn't know what would happen if he just chugged the thing fully.
"AAAA DAMN!!! am i going to explode or something? this is so frustrating." Alex scratched his head.
"What are you talking about kid." Andrei came close and asked this.
"Hm? You are sleeping here, Captain?" Alex asked.
"No, just came here to piss, you look very distressed." He said this.
"Yes, i am..." Alex was thinking if he should tell Andrei what was going on with the drink.
"Thinking about some decision i need to make..." He said this.
"Hm? Listen, kid, when i was about your age i had a choice to get down with a beautiful girl in the big city..." Andrei looked up while pissing.
"She was an aristocrat... she was like an Aphrodite, her beauty made the nations go to war... but she fell in love with me... just me..." Andrei said this.
Alex raised his eyebrow "(What does that have to do with anything)" He scratched his head.
"But when i met her parents..." Andrei lost his cheeky tone.
"They were up to their ass, their arrogance almost made me spit on their face, they looked at me like i was a trash lost in the streets coming to their home." Andrei looked at Alex.
"Do you know what i did?" He said.
"What?" Alex asked.
"I smashed the table at the father and ran away." Andrei continued.
Alex was getting more and more confused.
"What am i saying is that i did that because i wanted to, and people call that braveness... was i really brave or just plain stupid..." Andrei finished his job and wiped his hand on his trousers.
"Anyhow, i don't regret that, because their enemies paid me a lot after humiliating their name like that... when you are brave and go past what you think is dangerous and stupid, you are the freest after that..." Andrei said this and went back.
Alex sat there and thought "That is the dumbest advice i have ever heard in my life..." He laughed inwardly.
Then looked down at the drink and said "And he is damn right." He took the bottle and.
Drank it.
*BSGGHHGHGHHG*
He drank it... almost all of it...
End Of Chapter.
