Hey I'm Dominic and I have to share this incident that transpired just last week. It was just a normal day headed to work. I got in my car, stopped at Dunkin Donuts for a quick bagel and coffee and 30 minutes later I'm walking into the office. Lunch comes and as usual I'm eating at my desk writing up what I have to do tomorrow and preparing myself for when I get home. My shift is about to finish in about 30 minutes when my boss comes strolling around my cubicle talking a bunch of nonsense like "Dominic I'mma need you stay here and finish up what I have on my computer" like can you believe him, the nerve of that guy; asking me to stay longer than my clock out time so I can work. I should've just left but I was gettin paid overtime so I was going to make it worth it; besides my rent for my new apartment isn't going to pay for itself. As I'm typing on the boss's computer I hear a big crash in another room, almost like a window broke. I grab the gun I know the boss keeps in his bottom drawer just for this type of situation. But as I'm walking to the other room the door opens, by the way the cubicles for everyone are in between the boss's office at the side of the building by the window and the other room where important documents and files are being held. So as I'm walking through the cubicles, low to the ground I see him on the other side we lock eyes with each other. He's wearing all black, has boots on and a ski mask. I raise the gun to fire but he moves towards me and grabs it then pistol whip me. I wake up in the boss's office in his chair with my hands tied with the man who is by the window talking on the phone. I scream out "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS, LET ME GO" He comes up to me and kind of pets my head with the barrel of the gun and says simply "All questions will be answered in time" then leaves the room to go down the hall into the elevators. I have no idea what he could mean by that but I just know I have to get out of here so I use my weight and jump with the chair, breaking it and being able to unloose the rope from my legs and use a letter opener in the boss drawer to free my hands. I make a beeline for the stairs and as I'm running I hear the door at the top open and slam shut then footsteps rushing down the stairs. I run faster and make it to the parking lot. I get in my car right when he sees me and starts firing shots. I duck low so I don't get my head blown off and peel out of there. But not even 5 mins later a huge black van is tailing me so I drive faster and make quick turns around corners so I can lose him. After about 20-30 minutes without seeing him and driving slowly around the streets I go home and crash. The next morning at work I tell my boss everything and he kind of brushes it off saying I might've pissed off the wrong person but he does order more security during night. Even still that whole situation scared me for life so I'm never working a night shift again.
