The veil of darkness couldn't completely cut off its senses.

Ulfr and Little Rainbow released a barrage of wind blades at the mantis.
Many of the wind blades hit the mantis, injuring it slightly.
The anger in the mantis grew.
Boom!
It dashed, running around the arena, its instinct reaction as it dodged many wind blades. But there were too many to avoid them all. Its anger grew as it couldn't detect its enemies.
