"Arach, now that I remember, you battled with Matthew?" Alden asked.
"Yes, we battled for a while. I stalled till you got far enough and then retreated." Arach replied.
"But how could you hold your ground against a 5-star warrior realm for so long?" Alden couldn't help but ask. He had given it his all and yet got defeated in a minute.
"The biggest reason we are considered superhumans compared to ordinary humans is the spiritual energy. And what's important in battles is the strength and quality of your body. Each body has a limit to how much you can enhance it with spiritual energy.
And thus, in each realm, the body produces just enough spiritual energy as you can handle.
When you break through the next realm, your body changes and can support more spiritual energy. But if someone somehow has more spiritual energy and pushes past the limit of the body, the strength you display could damage your fibers and muscles and even bones.
