'If that hits me, I'll either get trapped or buried,' Alden thought, looking at the incoming mud wave.

He jumped back, hiding behind a tree. But he was not sure if the tree could stop the mud wave, so he continued moving.
The rain poured, obstructing his vision, but he couldn't care less about the rain now.
Boom!
Creak!
The mud wave slammed into the tree. A lot of the wave splashed on the tree, but the tree couldn't handle the weight and strength of the wave. It broke and started falling while the remaining mud continued chasing Alden.
Swoosh!
Alden ran to the nearest tree and channeled spiritual energy in his feet.
Thud!
Thud!
Thud!
He walked up the tree, leaving a footprint in the trunk when he stepped. He ran up the tree until he reached the height of the mud wave.
Swoosh!
Alden pushed himself off the tree and did a backflip.
Boom!
