Alex didn't stop punching the body of hybrids, not until the entire head was blasted apart and reduced to shreds.
Seeing him act like a barbarian, Rin approached him, her voice pulling Alex out from his state of confusion.
"What was that, Alex? Why didn't you use guns?" Rin asked as she walked toward him, curious to see what was troubling him. Both she and Steve had long killed the hybrid that was their prey, but Alex seemed out of place, as if something was troubling him.
"Haha, I wanted to test my artifact," Alex replied. He couldn't bring himself to explain to them how vividly he had witnessed the cruel act of an inhuman who defined the very definition of his own name.
"There will be plenty of opportunities now," Rin continued.
"GUYS, what should we do next?" Steve asked, and this time his question was appropriate because at that very moment, Alex and Rin were both pondering the same thing: what would be the best course of action?
