In the morning, Dominic was ready to go to work. He was having breakfast with his parents. There was no meaningful conversation, other than Dominic asking permission to use his father's car, as his car has had problems since last night. After getting permission, he went straight to the office.
"Are you going to visit your wife in the hospital again, Dominic?" his father asked before he left.
"I don't know, Dad. I've got a lot of work to do today. We'll see. If I have time, I will visit him and see how he is," replied Dominic, who felt discouraged talking about Jessica.
