The expedition had been ongoing for two weeks now. It may seem long with the number of S-rankers taking part, but the number of S-rankers could not change the fact a Tier 2 Nation is large.
A Tier 2 Nation might not be as large as the Tier above it but it can have territories in hundreds to thousands of square miles. Requiring days if not months to traverse it entire length, much less inspect every part of the territory.
A group of S-rankers could not hope to do such thing. However, they were not alone. The number of adventurers accompanying them allow for better job distribution. The elites, S-rankers and A-rankers will focus on clearing the largest monster encampment and killing the strongest monsters while the B and C-rank adventurers will clear the area once no more powerful monsters are in the area.
Slowly, they get closer to Zell City, the city that supposedly the shield of the nation against the encroachments of monsters.
