However, the man in the turban stepped up before Adrian could step towards Tim. Adrian didn't know what relationship the two shared, but placing himself in the middle to shield Tim spoke volumes.
"So this is the brat Victor couldn't tame?" The man in a turban scoffed. "He doesn't look any special to me? Victor had created better Chimaeras than him-"
Although Adrian wasn't paying much attention to what the man had to say, the last line caught his attention. He recalled what Victor was mumbling about before his death, something along the lines of asking for a tamer's help.
"So it was you?" Adrian mumbled, taking a good look at the nomad. "What's your name?"
Hearing Adrian's question, the nomad laughed, retrieving his whip as both prepared for the imminent clash.
"What the point of letting you know my name?" the nomad scoffed. "After all, slaves don't address their master by name."
