'Meh, whatever,' Adrian shrugged and closed the prompts before him.
He was indeed interested in owning the weapon before and would have done so after killing Malachi. However, he couldn't get past how easily the entity to whom Malachi had sworn absolute loyalty disowned him.
Adrian just couldn't wrap his head around it. The way entity sold Malachi out to him by revealing the truth about the weapon and the only way to kill him.
All because he wasn't good 'entertainment' made Adrian question if he ever wanted to side with them, knowing the demon could similarly betray him for no reason.
That said, Adrian couldn't risk denying the demon and having her exact revenge on him by offering the weapon to someone else. While he wasn't tempted to accept the deal, he knew there were plenty of miserable souls who wouldn't hesitate.
