The monster had just killed Shika, and now it stood between Rina and Leno, probably deciding who would be its next prey.
It was a creature whom none of them had seen or heard of before. While Rina was trying to figure out their next step, he noticed the damn abomination was eyeing him and knew he had to do something or else he would die.
At that moment, Rina just wanted to save his butt and no one else. So he grabbed a fairly big rock from the ground and threw it at Leno's head. Leno, who was fixated on the monster, didn't notice the rock being hurled over towards him and fell on the ground with a thud.
