Suddenly, a cackling sound broke the silence. Out of thin air, a chibi-looking man appeared, floating a few inches above the ground.
The man was small, no bigger than the size of Adrian's palm, with exaggerated features of a goblin and a mischievous grin. He wore a tiny suit and had a pair of bat-like wings to help him fly.
Adrian was a bit taken aback by the admin's comical appearance. He had expected another angel like Zelina to appear, as he thought all of them would share a species. But he was wrong.
"Who summoned me?" the chibi man squeaked, his voice high-pitched and grating. "I have a lot on my plate, you know! I don't have time to be called on a whim!"
"I called you here," Adrian replied, getting off the bed. "I was hoping you'd-"
The chibi man fluttered closer, inspecting Adrian with a critical eye. "Well, Mr Arnold, why did you call for me? Make it quick. I have important matters to attend to!"
