Obscurus, Master Chambers.
After he finished training with his newly obtained Psyker Ability, Arcturus was rather tired from the entire endeavor. Even though it went well, Dimensioon Emyprean was, in the end, Super-High Risk Primal Psyker Ability, so even this bit of training left a great strain on his mind.
Something that he couldn't really ignore. Thus, he decided to rest in his personal chambers for the time being. During the time he was at the Starfort Lycurgos, Red Queen Alice already replenished the goods on the ship.
Now, he had several kinds of alcohol and cigars, together with some luxurious foods, which could be easily bought with Universal Credits. Obviously, these were just ordinary products with no added value, or else they wouldn't cost almost anything.
"Alice, how would Obscurus be classified as a spaceship across the universe?"
Arcturus sat down on the leather sofa as he poured himself a local alcoholic drink that he had bought at the Lycurgos Starfort. It was rather reminiscing of him of the scotch in the consistency, color, and taste a bit.
He was aware that there were certain problematic aspects with the Obscurus, because the ship was incomplete as he was unfortunately unable to finish the ship within the game.
"What are you suggesting we should start with... with the budget of, let's say, half a million Universal Credits, the remaining half I plan to invest into my own evolution and progress."
Arcturus didn't really plan to hoard money right now because he needed to invest as much as possible into himself to upgrade his strength. The stronger he got, the more dangerous and better-paid missions he could undertake or go after high-profile bounties.
And in turn, he would once again obtain more and more money. He was aware that this reality was dangerous as shit, there were people with superpowers capable to obliterating entire planets apparently according to what was on the Extranet and Imperial Netshpehere.
He could only pray to his lucky star that he appeared in a region where there were not many powerful people residing, or else, he would probably be killed, or even something worse than death could have happened to him.
Hearing this, his head almost hurt because this would be expensive. When he was playing Star Citizen Online and building the spaceship, he preferred to have the offensive power as high as possible, so he a bit neglected the defensive capabilities of the starship.
"The Void Shield Generators should take priority above everything else; while the hull of the ship is thick enough to withstand the firepower of our own weapons, the shields would crumble upon more advanced weaponry of Type 3 technological tree... anything else?"
And the other things that the Red Queen was putting forth, were not even a bit cheaper, but all of it was currently missing. Right now, Obscurus had only some basic technologies for these things, while Red Queen was basically doing what she could to push them to the maximum.
This was a tremendous number, considering the current computing capabilities of the Red Queen, but unfortunately, she was forced to work with inferior hardware and make up for the deficiencies in some of the systems...
"Would the half million Universal Credits be enough to buy the things that we need?"
Arcturus wanted to save the other 500,000 Universe Credits for different purposes, mainly to buy things to enhance his physique, to advance his Psyker Grade a bit, or to expand properly the Psionic Energy Realm of the Dimension Empyrean.
This would obviously cost a tremendous fortune because these things were not exactly cheap. He wanted to get his hands on the high-end gene-enhancing serums, which cost tens of thousands of Universal Credits even for the lowest grade of them.
He took that into consideration, though he hoped to obtain the gene-enhancing gene serums at a good price, possibly using some channels of the Imperium for the Asuryani Highborne.
"We will solve this when we return back to the Lycurgos."
He decided to procure the materials when he was back in the Imperial Territory, perhaps betting on his identity as the Asuryani Highborne to obtain them at the chapter rate. He predicted that they would be soon enough arriving back at the Imperial Space.
Arcturus knew what the spatial disturbances meant; it seemed that his way home would take longer.
The spatial disturbances could have several reasons; it was nigh impossible to tell beforehand for them right now, though right now, he could only hope that it wouldn't be something disastrous.
